Documentary Storyteller based in Sand City, CA.

As an independent documentarian and storyteller, Logan Norton draws from a background in Anthropology to explore the development of culture, specifically relating to our sense of home. His work looks at the ways outside elements such as geography and climate influence the places we live. Logan’s photography brings to light the important, but often invisible role these factors play in the development of the cultures we experience.

Logan is the Executive Director of Sylvan Gallery in Sand City, CA where he presents contemporary, emerging artists whose work is pushing the artistic boundaries of concept and physicality.

Logan has taught photography at San Jose State University and at a number of workshops in the United States and Mexico. He is a partner at Capturing S.M.A. Photography Workshops, a non-profit analog photography education program that introduces young people in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico to the magic of film and the wonders of the darkroom.

Logan also serves on the Board of Trustees at the Center for Photographic Art in Carmel, CA where he currently holds the position of Secretary.
